Cute kids!! No grass in the yard??? No grass anywhere??? I'm so spoiled by Ky.! I suppose it would be good for people with allergies! My mother made me pluck a chicken she had just killed once.....I nearly died. I cried and cried, and took off one feather at a time. I'm sure I would do better now. And by the way, I'm suprised that sheep have hair on their hooves! Could I show these pictures to a 5th grade class tomorrow? Its a social studies class, and it surely does make them see the differences. Love you for what you're doing. You are truly a gift to us all.
Thanks for stopping by! In August I will be leaving Kentucky for Namibia, Africa where I will serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English. This blog will chronicle my ups, downs, twists, turns, tears and laughs. Hope you enjoy!
My Address During Training (August 21-October 15, 2009 )
Amy Wickliffe, PCT Peace Corps PO Box 6862 20 Nachtigal Street Ausspanplatz Windhoek Namibia
Letters and packages take a minimum of 2 weeks to arrive from the US. Make sure to write "Airmail" on the envelope.
If you would like to send a package, try to do so in a padded envelope and make the outside look as uninteresting as possible so no one else tries to claim the goods before they get to me.
so cute! what a wonderful family! we'll be missing you in charleston this weekend. :(
